The need for food and support has grown, we are here to help.

Our food providers are facing greater demand for their services every year. Our goal is to provide resources where our community needs them the most.

"Schenectady Shares provided a fun and welcoming atmosphere for students like myself to work together with community leaders to distribute food to nearby providers across the county. This hands-on project allowed me to understand the impact of community engagement and motivated me to get more involved."

— Mary, Student Volunteer, Union College

“Food is a reason for joy, and when folks have to worry about where their next meal is coming from, it takes away joy and stability.”

— Jackie Clute, Executive Director, The Daily Bread Food Pantry
